Leading Others is a massive responsibility, we want to support our next-gen leaders by being hyper-transparent about what they need to know as they consider moving from and IC role to a People Leader role.
We created an open-source New People Leader Playbook in early 2025 to let people know what being leading others means, how they will be evaluated, how we will support them, etc. Addressing the common traps that new people leaders (and even tenured ones) find themselves in from time to time.
